Monthly DMR Net Script

Good evening – this is name, callsign. I’ll be your net control this evening for the Hurst Amateur Radio Club DMR Net.

This net meets the first Sunday evening of each month at 8:00 PM for announcements, general discussion, and promotion of DMR in the Hurst Club and amateur radio in general. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the net.

All Nets – We will take a round of check-ins, and after stations have checked in, I’ll go back and call each station in order of check-in for comments or any other assistance you might need help with regarding DMR.

First, is there any emergency or priority traffic? {Break}

  • If there is emergency traffic, immediately respond to the calling station and give assistance. Otherwise:

There was no Emergency traffic heard. If at any time you or someone does have an emergency or priority traffic, please interrupt the net by using the pro-sign “break-break” and I will immediately halt all check-ins, traffic, or comments, and assist in the best way possible.

I will now take any mobile or portable station check-ins wishing to join the Hurst Amateur Radio Club DMR Net. Please come with your call sign twice, phonetically at least once, now. {Break}

  • Please record callsigns, name if possible, and whether there is traffic from stations checking-in. Pause for approximately 10 seconds after the last check-in. Take check-ins and comments immediately.

Now I’ll take check-ins from all areas. Any area — please come with your call sign twice, phonetically at least once, now. {Break}.

  • Please record callsigns, name if possible, and whether there is traffic from stations checking-in. Pause for approximately 10 seconds after the last check-in.
