Hurst Amateur Radio Club Member of the Year 2023 – 2024
Each year the HARC membership votes to decide our Member of the Year! This year the membership chose John Skier K5SKR the 2023 – 2024 Member of the Year! John’s accomplishments and dedication to the club are renowned! He continues to serve as club treasurer, HamClubOnline administrator, Elmer and tireless servant to our, sometimes finicky, array of radios associated connectivity. Whenever the club needs volunteers, hands on work or general advice, John will be at the head of the line!!!

The OLD CROW award is presented by the club president to a club member who has gone above and beyond to assist our club and make the president’s job even easier. Michael Balderas KJ5AJU was awarded this year’s OLD CROW award for his outstanding service to our club. Michael steps up whenever the need arises. He moderates our Discord server, runs various weekly nets, assists with projects, volunteered to be the 2024-2025 TechTalk chair and much more!
